Agricultural Office Ransack By Thieves In Kpong Eastern Region
Information reaching us from Kpong in the Eastern Region has it that some unknown thieves have ransacked the Agricultural Office.

According to reports, the robbers made away with some items at the office like desktop computers, a brand new fridge, and some other valuable items at the office
Speaking to Kasapa News, the Lower Manya Municipal Officer of Agricultural in charge of Extension Services, Alex Fourdjour said that this is the sixth time in five years the office has encountered such a situation but in all, no arrest has been made yet.
“They broke the burglar-proof and broke into five offices. Because of the robbery cases, our director has secured the rooms but these people broke into it to steal. They took everything,” he said.
“They ransacked the office, took away desktop, 35 plastic chairs, a brand new fridge and projector. When you talk about office materials, they took everything. The only thing they left are our documents. This is the sixth robbery I have witnessed since I was posted here some five years ago”, he added.
He further said that the constant robbery at the office has created uneasiness among the workers, regarding the fact that their lives are being threatened, they might be forced to lay down their tools if the suspects of the recent incident are not arrested.
He also lamented how the area where the Agricultural office is situated is full of notorious wee smokers and other criminal activities but the police have not been able to clamp them down.
