Akuapem Poloo Reports In Nsawam Prison Despite Her bail
Akuapem Poloo has been handed over to the Ghana Prison Service and is currently housed in the Nsawam Female Prison, according to the Ghana Prison Service.
In June 2020, Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in prison by an Accra Circuit Court for publishing a nude photo of herself with her seven-year-old son.
However, pending an appeal by her lawyer Andy Vortia, an Accra High Court granted her bail of GH80,000 with two sureties on Wednesday, April 21.

On Thursday, Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku, in an interview with Christian Agyei Frimpong, host of Onua FM’s entertainment talk show Anigye Mmre, confirmed that Poloo is currently in their custody at the Nsawam Female Prisons.
According to ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku, she was brought to Nsawam Female prisons today.
