Doctor At Korle-Bu Arrested For Poisoning Water Of Colleague With HIV Blood

A doctor at the korle-bu teaching hospital in Accra has been arrested by the Ghana police service after he was caught poisoning the water of a colleague doctor with whom he works at the same hospital.
According to reports, the two doctors whose names have been withheld for safety reasons are said t be both workers at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH).

The two doctors are currently been investigated by the police service to ascertain the real motive which led to one doctor trying to poison the water of the other with HIV blood.
Checks by Graphic Online at the Korle Bu District Police Command indicated that at about 11.30 a.m. on May 6, 2021, a medical doctor, accompanied by the lawyer of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH), Mr. Kwame Gyamfi, filed a complaint at the charge office of the police station regarding an attempt to poison the doctor’s drinking water.
The doctor who filed the complaint revealed that he returned from a 24-hour duty with other doctors to find out that the water he placed down before going for his duty had been contaminated which led to him clinically testing the water that proved to have been contaminated with HIV samples.
