Education Ministry To Bring Finality To The Rastafarian Students Issue Today

The Ministry of Education (MoE) is expected to make a decision on the case involving the two Rastafarian students and the Achimota school administration today.
The Achimota school denied admission to two Rastafarian students, Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea and Tyrone Iras Marhguy, for their dreadlocks on their first day of showing up at the school.

The Ministry of Education in a meeting held on Thursday (March 25, 2021) with the family of Rastafarian students, asked the factions in dispute to cease fire until Monday, March 29, 2021 to a resolution of the matter.
Rastafarian students were prohibited from starting the academic year at Achimota School due to their dreadlocks.
Several Ghanaians have reprimanded the school for taking such action.
