Ken Ofori-Atta Back Home After Going To The US For Post COVID-19 Complications Treatment

The Minister of Finance designate, Ken Ofori-Atta has finally back to Ghana from the United States of America.
It could be recalled that he went to the US for treatment for post-COVID-19 complications on February 14, 2021, after he suffered some complications following his recovery from the deadly COVID-19.
The report, according to Asaase FM, revealed that Mr. Ofori-Atta spent about 30 days at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA, where he received specialised treatment for post COVID-19 complications.
It was also revealed that although he is much better now, he has been advised by his doctors to reduce his work load in order to ensure his full recovery.
He arrived in Ghana on March 20 and upon his arrival, he drove straight to the Jubilee House to inform President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of his recovery and subsequent return back.
Due to his ill-health, he was not able to meet the Appointments Committee of Parliament and in his absence, the budget was presented by a non-finance minister. The budget was read by the caretaker finance minister and minister for parliamentary affairs, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.
