Eugene Kwame Marfo, known as Kuami Eugene, is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter who specializes in high-life and afrobeat music. Due to his amazing talents, he became one of the fast-rising musicians in Ghana.

Eugene received the Ghana Music Award Categories and also the Ghana Music Awards UK’s New Artist awards in 2018. AFRIMA also honoured him with the Most Promising Artiste in Africa award.

Kwami Eugene was a competitor on Ghana’s MTN Hitmaker season 5 in 2016, finishing third overall.

He was signed to Lynx Entertainment shortly after and has since released several singles. “Angela” had one million views on YouTube in 2017, the most for any music artist on the label, and was listed as one of Ghana’s top ten songs.

He is a featured artist in “Adwenfi” by DJ Vyrusky and Shatta Wale. In 2018, he released a continuation of the storyline in the “Angela” song called “Confusion”.

Kwami Eugene also released the track “Wish Me Well” in June 2018. In response to the terrible reactions he received on social media, THE Rockstar released a statement. Some of them, however, claimed he was plagiarizing lyrics from another musician, Ice Prince.

On the 25th of December in 2017, he performed at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic Concert in Ghana.
