Two Suspects Arrested In Connection With Breman Mining Pit Collapse

Police have arrested two suspects who are been charged with the cause of the Breman Mining Pit Collapse.
This sad accident happened in Breman “Brofoyedru” a small community in upper Upper Denkyira West District.
According to a Police report, the “Breman Mining Pit Collapse” has killed three people, and also leaving several injured.
In addition, the two suspects identified as Kweku Appiah and Kwasi Appiah are assisting the Police in further investigations.
Kwasi Yeboah, 24 years old, and Fabetia, a girl 13 years old, were named as two of the three victims found dead after the rescued mission patrol dragged them out of the pit. The third casualty is a female who has yet to be named.
“Kweku Appiah and Kwasi Appiah are the main operators who see to the day and day operating of this galamsey site” Police added.
Despite Akufo-Addo’s government’s efforts and measures to end illicit mining (Galamsey), a source claims that this community has paid little heed to the ban on unlawful mining.
